MEET OUR TEAM

Blandine joined the practice in December of 2017. With a BSN in Nursing and a BA in a Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Program, she has enjoyed working in the medical field for over 20 years. Her passion for patient interaction and her ability to adapt to and acquire new skills has made her a valued asset to the practice. As our Office Manager and Treatment Coordinator, she is grateful to be a part of such an amazing team.

Blandine is the daughter of immigrants and has had the opportunity of growing up in two cultures-Haitian and American. After her Faith in God, her family is the most important thing to her. She loves singing, event planning, traveling, fashion and learning new things.

Jasmily is the newest member of our team. She is originally from NYC and studied Business at City College of New York before making the transition to the dental field. She is a certified dental assistant and enjoys interacting with each patient and finds fulfillment in dentistry. She has a love of the outdoors, writing, singing, and spending quality time with her family.

Afua joined our team as a registered dental hygienist after graduating, with honors, from NYU College of Dentistry’s Dental Hygiene Program. She is a NYS registered dental hygienist with certification in the administration of nitrous oxide and local anesthesia.

Afua’s interest in dentistry peaked when she had to be fitted with braces for two and a half years at age 13 in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines where she was born and raised. Each visit to the dental office during that period offered a different and exciting experience. Afua became curious and fascinated with how her teeth were transforming and more so the importance of her oral health. Frequent visits to the orthodontist turned into Q&A sessions and Afua, who never relented and was persistent in her quest for knowledge, developed a passion for dentistry making it the focal point of her educational and professional pursuits.

Maimouna began her career in dental hygiene by graduating with honors from the Dental Hygiene Program at NYU Dentistry in 2010. She moved to New York from Senegal, where she was born and raised. Her 14 years of clinical experience gives her the ability to be patient-focused and the knowledge to provide the highest quality care possible.

She has extensive experience and advanced training in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide analgesia and laser therapy. She is excited to have a career that she loves and is grateful to be working with such an amazing team.

In addition to dentistry, she enjoys cooking and traveling.
